Learn to float on your back. It will save your life

The last time I went to the World Conference on Drowning Prevention, a presenter showed an interview with a 20-something year old Chinese woman.
She had never swum a day in her life but one day found herself on a boat. Well, the boat sank and she was thrown into the sea.
In the interview, she says that when she was younger she was told if she was to ever fall in, just get on your back. All you have to do is get on your back and float.
Well, this lady floated for over 20 hours before finally being rescued. With zero swim lessons.
3 cheers for water safety education!
