How Army Beat Navy in Swimming

Today on the pod we've got Brandt Nigro, head coach of Army West Point Swimming & Diving.

Coach Brandt highlights the recent historic win against Navy after 35 years, the emphasis on leadership development, and the individualized approach to training.

He also shares insights into his own journey (I met Brandt many years ago when he was a assistant at NC State learning from Braden Holloway, et. al), the transformative progress of the Army program, and the unique aspects of coaching at a service academy.

Brett also asks about recruiting challenges, balancing West Point's rigorous academics, and the unrivaled atmosphere of the Army-Navy swim meet.

Enjoy!
