Elliot Ptasnik

Elliot Ptasnik is a seasoned swimming coach with over 15 years of experience across various levels, including age group, collegiate, and professional swimming. He currently serves as the Associate Head Coach for the men's and women's swimming programs at Queens University of Charlotte, a position he was promoted to in September 2024. Before joining Queens, Ptasnik was a volunteer assistant coach at Stanford University, working primarily with the women's team under Head Coach Greg Meehan. He also founded and led Aloha Aquatica, a professional training group in Kapolei, Hawaii, from 2021 to 2023, coaching world-class swimmers such as World Champion Ben Proud, World Record holder Andrii Govorov, and Olympic gold medalist Anthony Ervin. From 2016 to 2021, Ptasnik was part of the University of Hawaii at Manoa's swimming staff, serving as an assistant coach and later as head coach. During his tenure, he guided the women's team to five consecutive Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Conference Championships and the men's team to two championships. His success earned him MPSF Women's Coach of the Year honors in 2020 and 2021, and MPSF Men's Coach of the Year in 2020.
