Emma Igelström
Emma Igelström is a former Swedish Olympic swimmer and world champion in breaststroke. She was the first woman in history to break the 30-second barrier in the 50m breaststroke (short course) in 2002. A dominant force in the early 2000s, she won multiple European and World Championship titles. After retiring from competitive swimming, Emma has been involved in sports development and coaching, and she now works in Saudi Arabia, where she is helping to build swimming programs in a country where female competition is still in its early stages. She is passionate about mental health, athlete well-being, and the evolution of training in swimming.
